Band sampler, linen, embroidered with polychrome silks in cross, eyelet hole, and double running stitch. The sampler comprises nine horizontal bands which feature repeat border patterns (band 2-7), an alphabet (band 8-9) and the name and date ' Margreat Langley October the 28 1687', (band 1)
