Notes:

Plate signed with the engraver's monogram 'TC'. Hind notes: 'The plate was been ascribed variously to Cockson and [Thomas] Cecill' (p.245), with further discussion on p.241: '... the Czar Dimitri is as near in style to Cecill's 'Sultan Morat IV' as to Cockson's plates, and I leave its description under Cockson with this note of my doubts.'
