Description:

Band sampler, linen, embroidered with polychrome silks in cross, double running and lace filling stitches. The top comprises a band filled with detached motifs including birds, a frog and a rabbit. Six horizontal bands of repeat patterns, one of which contains 'boxers', fill the remainder of the canvas.
